Our Silver Salmon (Coho) don't run quite as large as the Kings, but they put up an exciting fight for their size, which will average 7-10 lbs. and may run as high as 20 lbs.

Besides fishing for salmon in Sitka, we also have huge Halibut, Ling Cod and Rockfish. Sitka Halibut will average 25+ lbs. and can reach over 300 lbs. Halibut and salmon are found in the same areas so catching a limit of both salmon and halibut is not uncommon.
